Are you attending the Derby, going on a Safari, or Luxury Ski Adventure? Are you looking for a VIP experience and would like custom hats? Master Milliner Jenny Pfanenstiel will work through your event planner, or directly with your attendees to create a custom hat experience like no other. She will make each hat from scratch using traditional techniques to fit your clients exact head size, desired hat shape, color, and custom embellishments.
Jenny creates hats for all seasons, themes, and occasions for women, gentlemen and children for any size group. Options can include custom hat shapes and styles, custom hat colors to coordinate with a specific outfit for an event, or company colors. Custom bow ties and pocket squares with company logos can also be created. How about a “Hat Reveal Celebration" for the attendees at your location, or the Formé Millinery Hat Shop.

Are you a part of a convention or group coming to town and are looking for a true Kentucky experience? How about a fun "Speed Hat Making Workshop"! We can accommodate any size group for women, gentlemen and children.
This experience can take place at the Formé Millinery Hat Shop, your hotel, or meeting place. Each attendee will be provided with a hat already made and ready for decorating. We will demonstrate how to manipulate different embellishing materials to be used to complete your hat. This can include feathers, flowers, horsehair, ribbon, etc. All hats are made with an adjustable sweatband to fit multiple head sizes.
Price per person is based on which Speed Workshop chosen and level of premium product. All materials are included. Workshop can last 1 hour-3 hours.
Jenny and staff can travel to offer this experience outside of Kentucky.

Indulge in a unique hat experience with the Felt Hat Bar.
Pick your hat from a variety of styles including cowboy hats, fedoras, and wide brims made from felt, fur felt, wool, suede, or straw. Then pick your embellishments from a selection of ribbons, leather bands, broaches, feathers, and flowers. Then add custom branding of your initials, or a picture, or saying to the hat. Leave with your very own one-of-a-kind hat! Note, branding is not available for straw hats.
Perfect for bridal showers, guys night out, or interactive corporate events.
Price can be a la carte or set up as a flat fee depending on budget.

Would you like to gift or offer a finished hat to your group or VIP guests? We can offer a private shopping experience at our Hat Shop, or we can bring the completed hats to your hotel or meeting place. We would provide a large variety of finished brimmed hats, fascinators, fedoras, top hats, and more. Custom bowties and neckties can also be an option. All hats are made with an adjustable sweatband to fit multiple head sizes. Hat boxes can be added for a nice finishing touch.
Price for styles offered vary depending on budget gifted per person. Custom options are available.

Using a technique that dates back 200 years blocking over wooden hat forms that you can see throughout her shop.

Decorate your own Derby hat or felt hat at the Hat Bar. Choose from a large variety of feathers, flowers, and trimmings to complete your hat. Finished hats for all seasons and price points. Relax in the men’s hat lounge where you can find brands like Stetson, Peter Grimm and Conner. Children’s hats are also available. We can fit large groups. We also have a private area that can be rented out for hat workshops and experiences.

Just a 20-minute drive from Louisville, come to one of the last millinery supply houses left in the United States. See up close the raw materials used to make hats from scratch from Sinamay, felt, horsehair, veiling, grosgrain, and more. We can fit large groups. We also have a private area that can be rented out for hat workshops and experiences.

Jenny will bring the hat experience to you, whether that is to your hotel meeting room, company headquarters, or experience site. She will discuss how she got started in the hat business, the different millinery materials and vintage machines she uses, and her hat blocks (some dating back 200 years). Jenny will talk about the relationship of hats and the Derby and the proper way of wearing different types of hats. She will bring onsite raw materials, hat blocks, and hats for attendees to be able to see up close.
Presentation is approximately 30-40 minutes. Can customize content discussed. Power Point available.
