Are you interested in having a custom hat made just for you, by Master Milliner Jenny Pfanenstiel? Do you want to surprise someone special with a custom hat, or custom hat experience?
Everyone should enjoy the experience of having a custom hat made just for them. Jenny creates many custom hats for her women and gentlemen clients for all occasions and seasons.
Each person will work one-on-one with Jenny to create a unique, custom hat made just for them. Start by having your head measured so the hat fits you perfectly. You will try on different shapes and styles to find the right shape for you. Then, pick out the material that you want whether that be straw, wool, or something more unconventional. From there, we will talk about colors and embellishments. After a few weeks time, you have a completed hat that fits you perfectly in a custom shape and style.
Jenny truly enjoys the art of Millinery and hopes that each person enjoys their hat as much as she did making it. Each hat is created with special attention and love and comes in a Formé Millinery hat box.
*NOTE* Jenny has clients all over the world, therefore, this custom process can also be done via email and phone. The client can then pick up the hat when they come to Louisville, KY, or it can be shipped to them.
Jenny will bring the hat experience to you, whether that is to your hotel meeting room, company headquarters, or experience site. She will discuss how she got started in the hat business, the different millinery materials and vintage machines she uses, and her hat blocks (some dating back 100 years). Jenny will talk about the relationship of hats and the Derby and the proper way of wearing different types of hats. She will bring onsite the raw materials, hat blocks, and hats for attendees to be able to see up close.
Presentation is approximately 30-40 minutes. Can customize content discussed. Power Point available. Optional: Fashion Show of hats.
We look forward to creating an unforgettable experience for you.
